Summer Series 2013: Part 5 - Make Your Paths Straight

Summer Series 2013: Part 4 - Acknowledge Him

“Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.” - Charles (Chuck) Swindoll I heard Chuck Swindoll say this when I was a young father.   It gave me a visual of my responsibility towards my children.   When we go to the bank we make a deposit.   When we need the money we go to the bank or ATM and pull the money out.   If we do not work at continuing to deposit our wealth, then when needed, it’s not there.   It is the same with our children.   We must work at depositing into the lives of our children, for when it’s time to have a “talk” or   “time” with our child, they will give back what we have given to them!   What are you depositing into your children?   I have seen to many times parents try to pull out deposits from teenagers and adult children with so much resistance.   Why?   They did not deposit into their children when they were young.   They did not take the time to pour i...
